Forge Without Limits Community Fund
Pay It Forward — helping more people take part in the tabletop hobby.
Helping cost stop being a barrier.
The Forge Without Limits Community Fund exists to help more people take part in the tabletop hobby when cost might otherwise become a barrier.
People who want to support the FWL community can contribute to the fund, and Forge Without Limits can then use that support to help towards the cost of services for people who may not be able to afford the full amount themselves.
For example, if someone would benefit from £70 of hobby support but can reasonably afford £50, the Community Fund may be able to contribute the remaining £20.
The aim is simple
People within the hobby helping other people enjoy the hobby.
Four simple steps.
- Step 1
People contribute
Members of the community, customers, supporters or businesses can choose to contribute towards the FWL Community Fund.
- Step 2
Someone asks for support
A person interested in a Forge Without Limits service can let us know if cost is creating a barrier.
- Step 3
FWL considers the request
Every request is considered individually, taking into account the circumstances, the service being requested and the funding currently available.
- Step 4
The Fund helps bridge the gap
Where appropriate, Community Fund money can be used towards part of the cost, allowing the person receiving support to pay an agreed reduced amount.
